Meet the South Eastern Region Team
Welcome to the heart of the South Eastern Region! We try to act as a bridge between National HQ and our fantastic local District Associations (DAs). More than just a channel for communication, our aim is to make sure every concern, thought, and idea from our DAs is heard right at the top. We actively encourage members to engage and share their views with us so we can get a true feel for what matters to everyone.
We genuinely love working together as a team to support our members. Take a look below to meet the friendly faces making it all happen, and please do say hello if you spot us out on a field!
Alan Armstrong
Chairman &
Appointed National Councillor
Alan is a very forthright individual with a heart of gold who has held the position of chair for the past couple of years. A longstanding member of the Camping and Caravanning Club, he makes many trips to attend national council meetings to relay information on behalf of its members. He also stands on the committee of the South Downs DA and is known to put on some decent cooking spreads.
David Clarkson
Vice Chairman
Dave is in his second year of the role as vice chair. His main role is supporting Alan and overseeing the planning committe of the anuual anniversary meet. He is also secretary to South Downs DA
Debs Turner
Treasurer
Debs having had no experience of accounting took on the uneveable role of Regional Treasurer. She is tasked in making sure that all the accounts for the region are kept upto date whilst also being a liasing for the DA treasurers in the region. She also sits on the committe of south downs da.
Jilly George
Secretary and Social Secretary
Jilly has been a long standing member of the camping and caravanning club. She has held the position of secretary for a number of years where she is tasked with ensuring all minutes and greenpapers from hq are passed on. she took on the role of social secretary last year where along with Alan she is instrumental in organising the annual Dinner and Dance. Jilly also acts as the rep for MCS.
Allen Russell
Countryside Care Officer &
Elected National Councillor
Allen has been a member of the regional council for many years and held many important roles. Allen is currently the countryside care officer and is also an elected member to the the national council. He is also the secretary for Surrey DA
Alan & Coren Moore
Regional Youth Liasion Officers
Alan and Coren both grew up in the youth section and later became the youth leader for Surrey DA . Their role as regional youth liaison officers is to help and encourage any members wishing to start of as youth leaders for their DAs. Alan in his role as deputy national councillor is to stand in when Alan is unable to attend meetings. Both are also valuable members of Surry Da, with Coren their Chairman

Steve Titchener
Webmaster
Steve is our joker in the pack, keeping us all entertained. Last year he took on the role of webmaster and was instrumental in creating our new website. Steve also keeps a close eye on all the DA’s websites and is one of the judges for the website trophy award.
Phil Lambkin
Equipment Officer
Phil is a newly elected member to the regional council and took over the role of equipment officer. He has in the past played a integral role in helping with the anniversary meet. Not only DJ’ing but offering assistance where it was needed. He is also a valuable asset to the East Kent DA where he is their Vice Chairman.
Malcolm Jones
Facebook Admin
Malcolm is another new member to the council, taking on the role of Facebook admin. He has also been a big part in the organising of the anniversary meet and not afraid to get stuck in. He is also has the enviable task of treasurer for South Downs DA.
Jane Tanner
Auditor
Once a year Jane acts as auditor for the accounts of the region. However she is always on hand throughout the year to offer guidance and assistance to our treasurer Debs.
